Project Onboarding

Welcome—we're excited to get started!

This page outlines what to expect as we prepare to begin your project, along with the information and materials we’ll need from you to ensure everything runs smoothly from day one.

To keep everything organized in one place, please email us a Google Drive or Dropbox link containing all materials. All text-based files should be included in this folder, clearly labeled, and provided as Microsoft Word documents, Google Docs, or PDFs.

You may also upload a single folder with all materials included using our upload link here.

What to Expect

Every project begins with clarity and intention.

By the time we reach this stage, we’ve already explored your goals, audience, and direction together. Now, our focus shifts to turning that insight into thoughtful, high-impact execution.

Our process is structured but flexible, collaborative yet efficient.

We’ll handle the creative and technical heavy lifting, while keeping you involved through clear milestones and focused feedback points along the way.

Before We Begin

To stay on schedule, please provide the requested information and materials no later than one week before your project start date. Having everything in place allows us to begin without delays and make the most of our time together.

Information We'll Need

1. Visual References (Mood Board)

Please create a Pinterest board to help us understand your visual preferences.

To get started, visit pinterest.com, sign up or log in, click Create → Board, and give your board a name.

Add examples of websites, brands, logos, typography, layouts, and photography you’re drawn to—these can be from your industry or completely unrelated. As you add pins, include notes about what you like or don’t like about each example.

This board isn’t about choosing a final design direction. It simply helps us understand your taste and how you interpret design language.

Once your board is ready, please share the link with us.

2. Social Media

  • A list of all social media channels you currently use

  • Login credentials for existing accounts (if applicable)

  • A list of platforms you plan to use but haven’t set up yet

3. Newsletter Platform (If Applicable)

If we’re creating or updating a newsletter template, please share login access to your current email marketing service.

4. Business Card Content (If Applicable)

Please provide all text exactly as you want it to appear on business cards, including capitalization and formatting. This helps us avoid typos and ensures accuracy.

5. Domain & Website Access

  • Login credentials for your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy or similar)

  • Confirmation of whether you currently have a business email set up

  • If yes, which service you use

  • If no, we recommend Google Workspace and can help set this up

  • If you have an existing website, please provide login access so we can reference or import content as needed.

6. Trust & Credibility Elements

If applicable, please list:

  • Notable clients

  • Certifications or licenses

  • Professional memberships or associations

  • Media features or press mentions

If you don’t have any of these yet, that’s completely fine.

7. Website Content & Marketing Assets

  • Draft website copy for each page outlined in your sitemap

  • Confirmation of whether you currently have a business email set up

  • Photography or headshots

  • Existing documents or marketing materials we’ll be editing or referencing

  • Any additional materials you think may be helpful (brochures, presentation decks, etc.)

8. Decision-Makers

Please loop in any key stakeholders who will be involved in reviews and approvals, so communication stays clear and efficient.

Kick-Off Call

Once we’ve received your materials, we’ll review everything, confirm readiness, and send your Kick-Off Call invitation. From there, we’ll officially begin bringing your project to life.

If you have any questions as you gather materials, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help.

If anything is missing or incomplete, additional time may be required to gather those materials before we can officially begin the project.
